The Ross Clinic of Osteopathy and Complementary Medicine
Nicholas Handoll DO FSCC
Caroline Penn DO MSc FSCC PIH
Nicholas Handoll sees patients in in Ross-on-Wye. After 45 years' active practice he has cut down his workload so in May 2018 he terminated his registration with the General Osteopathic Council. This means that under the terms of the Osteopaths Act 1993 he may no longer use the title ‘osteopath’ nor claim to be an osteopath. The Osteopaths Act however does not restrict osteopathic techniques or osteopathic care so his patient care built on 45 years’ experience has not changed.
Nicholas opened his first Osteopathic Centre in Hereford in 1975 and the Ross-on-Wye Clinic of Osteopathy and Complementary Medicine some eight years later in 1983. In 2017 he sold the Hereford Osteopathic Centre, so sees people now only in Ross-on-Wye. With over 45 years of practice experience and over 35 years of teaching, Nicholas has contributed extensively to the development of osteopathy in this country, particularly in the field of what is known as Cranial Osteopathy.
Whatever your health problem osteopaths give you time to talk it through. Osteopaths endeavour to identify the cause of the problem, not just alleviate symptoms, and work with the body to help restore health naturally. People of all ages come to osteopaths, from newborn infants brought in under two weeks of age, to the elderly well into their 90s. For more details concerning infants and children follow the link at the top through Osteopathy to Infants and Children.
